Easter Afternoon at Grandma Thielens

We had our usual Easter egg hunt and grandma and grandpa Thielens house. They hide money in the eggs and Garrett got five dollars in quarters and a one dollar bill! Time to open him a savings account! We had lunch and hung out most the afternoon. It was very fun but I still miss the egg hunt in the front yard at moms! Garrett loves his great grandpa Thielen.

Coloring Easter Eggs

I finally figured out how to turn my pictures! Yay!! Garrett wasn't to into coloring eggs but he watched us anyway. He has such a cheesy smile. We had a fun night. Thanks grandma and grandpa for getting some good pictures for us!

Here is Rick with Garrett getting ready to hang out while I go to work on the weekends. I get a little jealous that I don't get to spend time with them on the weekends cause I always work. Rick is a great dad and takes such good care of our baby and our bully.

Here are just a few pictures of Garrett in his blessing outfit since both me and Sara sucked at taking pictures the day of their blessing. I loved his little outfit. It made him look so big!

So Big Now .............

I bought him this belly toy because he hated being on his belly but he loves to play with this for a while. It is wonderful for tummy time since he still hasn't rolled over!!




This was the first thing he grabbed hold of. Kinda sick since his boogs are in there but I was so excited he started grabbing!!




I still cant figure out how to turn my pictures so they have to be sideways for now! This was my favorite night gown for him. He wore it until it wouldn't even cover his legs. He is so adorable!!

Swimming....

While we were down for the blessing and funeral we took Garrett on his first swimming adventure. Don't worry I forgot a swim suit so i just wore a tank top and ricks pj shorts. Garrett loved the water but it was a little cold so we didn't swim very long. I don't want him to be scared of water like me so i want Rick to take him in the water more often!!

Bitter Sweet Week

On February 25 my mom called but called on Ricks phone which i thought was strange. It was the call I had been waiting for for about four months but the call I never wanted to get. My grandpa had died. It was the most saddest day I have had. I could not believe he was actually gone. I cried all night. The next couple days it didn't feel real. But what a weekend to go. I waited to bless Garrett because my 'lil sis Sara had her baby right after me and I wanted us to be able to bless them together and I wanted Grandpa there more than anything.He had been in the care center since march of 2008. We had been trying to figure out how we could do it with him there and I guess he knew because he got to make it! I know he was there and it made the weekend not so sad. Don't worry that Garrett still looks twice the size as Kayson!
